Designer Jewelry Gems

I tell you, I’ve really been working these past couple months on putting the last remaining details together for opening the doors of my new Wicca Supplies boutique in town. I’ve already had the website taking orders for a couple months now, and business is not bad when you consider what a brief period the site has been running.

For the actual Wiccan supply shop, we are going to be focusing less on books and incense and that type of thing than on lifestyle merchandise. The majority of what we are planning to stock in the store are things like Wiccan clothes. There is plenty that appeals to the older and more established Wicca folks as well as some really hip and sexy items that sell more to the young ones. There will also be plenty of jewelry with different different gemstones, each with little gift cards that tell you the special significance of the gemstones in the piece. I probably won’t be getting in too many books, because I kind of think the profits are too low on them and that books don’t have as high a turnaround as I wish they did, but I do expect that we will have a modest selection of our very favorites.

I’m also thinking that we will probably carry just a shelf or two of your basic witchcraft gear, as much for decoration as anything else, and we will carry some funky witchy decorations around the store and incense and candles burning and the rest. I’ve got this image of the store in my mind that I just hope I can manage to pull off when bringing it all together because if I can it will be a really righteous spot to work at and earn a living. I’m also hoping I’ll be having the opportunity to get to know more people in the nearby Wiccan community as well, as we have not gotten to know that many of them since moving to the country and I have always found the people in this community to be very welcoming.
